Hi — I'm Jennifer. I'm an American living in Spain. I get it.
When I moved here, I went through exactly what you're going through — searching from a laptop, missing listings, translating leases with Google Translate (even though Spanish is my 1st language!), guessing which neighborhood would actually feel like home.
Then I hired an agency, and traded one set of challenges for another. Translating even more, working through time differences and cultural nuances, and I still got tricked into paying more for my "home" than I should have. Twice! I wanted more than anything to finally feel settled, waking up in a place that felt like home and feeling like I belonged.
So I built Sol & Settled, because I knew there had to be a better way. Someone on the ground, working US hours, who actually understands what people need when they make this move.
That person is me.
